How to Set up a good home office?
Think Space! My first home office was in a small bedroom in the front of our home, talk about hard to focus when everyone was home. While I do not suggest moving just to find the perfect home office if that is something you are already doing start looking at floor plans that fit more of a work from home life style. My Current office is located off and away from the rest of the home, which allows be the separation that I needed and you will at some point want as well.
Next think FUNCTIONAL! What type of work are you going to be doing, will you be sitting a desk all day, do you need multiple work areas for different projects? I have found it helps to think it though on paper – or even Pinterest if you need so visual help.
I hope this list of home office must haves will you create the a home office ready for productive days!
